Welcome to Maverick Mat Rats
A youth wrestling program for children ages 5-11 founded in 1996 by Gary Randall, Robert Asomoto and Dave Buck. Since 1996 this program has been a strong foundation for some of San Diego’s CIF, Masters and CA state champions. Our coaching staff is made up of highly acclaimed veteran wrestlers and parent volunteers. It is our goal to teach each participant

Season Options:
This year we have fine-tuned our practice schedule to offer our wrestlers more specialized coaching. We’ve broken the schedule out into two sessions including a 60 minute Open Session for wrestlers of all skill levels and a 30 minute Advanced Session geared for wrestlers with at least one season of experience who are working toward competing in matches and tournaments.

Wrestlers participating in Advanced Sessions must have singlets, shoes and headgear for practices, matches and tournaments.
forgive me if I am not seeing where you are located in Encinitas. I would like to stop by to see your practice and facility and of course meet you guys.
